Vim Distribution “SpaceVim 1.5” Released

August 2, the development team of Vim distribution “SpaceVim” released its latest stable version “SpaceVim 1.5.0”.

SpaceVim is a distribution of the Vim editor. Inspired by spacemacs, it manages collections of plugins in layers, which helps to collect related packages together to provide features. It is released under the GPLv3.

SpaceVim is the latest stable version after v1.4, released in April.

This release includes four new programming language layers. Rust layer is improved. It adds new APIs like notification API, type checking function API, and more.

There are some notable changes, for example, the scrollbar has been disabled, and profile plugin and branch manager plugin have been added.

SpaceVim 1.5 is available for download from the project website.
